Dr. Rowe grew up in Minnesota and later San Antonio, Texas. He moved to Kansas in 2003, and completed degrees in psychology as well as chemistry with a focus on pre-medicine studies. He then completed residency in internal medicine in Wichita. Following this, Dr. Rowe completed a 3-year fellowship in gastroenterology and hepatology through Baylor University Medical Center in Dallas, Texas. His final year of that program was focused on advanced therapeutic procedures, particularly endoscopic ultrasound (EUS) and endoscopic retrograde cholangiopancreatography (ERCP). He returned to Wichita in 2021 with his wife, a local primary care physician, and four children. His practice is based primarily at the Robert J Dole VA Medical Center in Wichita, though Dr. Rowe is closely affiliated with KU Gastroenterology.
